SuzhouApril 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On the occasion of World Earth Day 2026 (April 22), Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou, in collaboration with and supported by the Beijing Huanding Public Welfare Foundation, officially launched the “Children’s Green Hues, Spring Blossoms All Things” environmental art exhibition. The works featured in this exhibition are selected from outstanding paintings in the “Huanding Youth Environmental Creative Activities.” With innocent brushes, children depict their thoughts and beautiful visions for the Earth’s future. Each piece carries a sincere expression of ecological protection, conveying the responsibility and commitment of young people.

Children participate in environmental-themed creation
On the opening day of the exhibition, the hotel specially invited some children and teachers from EtonHouse Kindergarten in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, to participate in the event. During the activity, the children carefully viewed the exhibition under guidance and engaged in environmental-themed creation at the hands-on experience area, expressing their care for the Earth with their tender hands.
As a hotel that consistently integrates cultural heritage, connection with nature, and sustainability awareness into the guest experience, Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou’s hosting of this environmental art exhibition is a vivid extension and practice of this core philosophy, and one of the hotel’s key activities in response to World Earth Day. The exhibition is located in the hotel lobby and runs from April 22 to May 21, 2026. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the blend of nature and sustainability on the blooming island by Jinji Lake, rediscovering the value of our shared home through the pure perspective of children.
The successful launch of this event is inseparable from the joint efforts of the hotel’s owner, Sun Hung Kai Properties, and Four Seasons Hotels. Sun Hung Kai Properties has long regarded environmental protection and sustainable development as a key part of its corporate responsibility, while Four Seasons Hotels deeply embeds ESG principles into daily operations and service details. The shared green consensus between both parties runs through the entire exhibition and series of supporting activities, making sustainable development a tangible and experiential lifestyle. Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou aims to build a green hotel, integrating environmental concepts into guests’ stays through diverse forms such as art displays, interactive experiences, and specialty dining.
The hotel’s children’s club, designed specifically for family guests, features natural, eco-friendly materials and an edutainment design philosophy. The hands-on experience area has become a key carrier of this Earth Day’s environmental message: children can participate in environmental-themed creation, intangible cultural heritage hands-on experiences, and fun nature conservation knowledge displays, fostering early reflections on environmental responsibility while passing on excellent traditional Chinese culture. As an important part of the Earth Day-themed series of activities, the hotel has specially set up eco-friendly hands-on experiences in the children’s club activity area, including DIY mini succulent landscapes, DIY coffee ground clay, and creative paper cup windmill making, inviting families to create together. Through hands-on practice, they can experience the joy of waste rebirth and the charm of natural aesthetics—we believe that the time spent exploring and creating together between parents and children not only strengthens family bonds but also allows environmental concepts to be passed down through generations. Additionally, the hotel’s pastry chef has carefully crafted limited-edition desserts around the environmental theme, integrating green concepts into exquisite food, allowing guests to subtly absorb environmental ideas while enjoying meals and play.
This “Children’s Green Hues, Spring Blossoms All Things” environmental art exhibition is open to all hotel guests and visitors free of charge from April 22 to May 21, 2026. Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou warmly invites people from all walks of life to visit this secluded island by Jinji Lake, pause before the paintings, listen to the voices of children, and practice environmental concepts in the blend of art and nature, working together to protect our shared future home.
