Barcelona, SpainApril 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — French fashion designer Stéphane Rolland made his Spanish runway debut on Wednesday evening at the tenth Barcelona Bridal Night, transforming the gala into a multidisciplinary feast of fashion, music, art, and poetry. Under the title “Love for Peace,” Rolland, alongside his partner Pierre Martinez as artistic director, designed a visual and musical ceremony in Hall 8 of the Montjuïc venue at Fira de Barcelona. The lighting, sound, and spatial design drove an optimistic narrative that presented fashion as a universal language, a symbol of peace and hope.

The evening began with a fashion show featuring 23 designs created by students from fashion schools IED Barcelona, LCI Barcelona, and ESDi, developed under the direct guidance of Stéphane Rolland as part of the Sculpted by Nature project. These works, made from fabrics provided by Gratacós, explored the relationship between nature, volume, and organic forms through sculptural silhouettes, precise structures, and meticulous attention to detail, highlighting the transmission of expertise and the intergenerational dialogue that marked the start of the gala.

Rolland then presented 80 looks, including his ready-to-wear bridal collection Noce de Sang and a series of iconic couture gowns. Nieves Álvarez, a regular with the French master, walked the runway alongside top Latin American model Ariadna Gutiérrez, as well as models Laura Sánchez, Davinia Pelegrí, Marta Ortiz, and Mercedes Muñoz.

Live music was provided by the Barcelona Youth Symphony Orchestra (JOSB), conducted by Carlos Checa, consisting of 65 musicians accompanying an eclectic emotional repertoire featuring works by Chopin, Debussy, Bach, and Vivaldi. Actress Nathalie Poza recited Jacques Prévert’s Cet amour, along with excerpts from classic love songs.

Prior to BBFW, Rolland donated 22 original sketches, now on display at the Barcelona Bridal Night Museum, to raise funds for the Kálida Foundation, which provides support for people undergoing cancer treatment and their families. The celebration concluded with a tenth-anniversary toast featuring a commemorative cake made by Lolita Bakery, solidifying the event’s status as a key international platform for bridal fashion.
