This cooperation represents an innovative practice in the internationalization of vocational education and industry-education integration, breaking through traditional school-enterprise collaboration models to achieve a deep fusion of technical testing and talent cultivation. The testing center integrates international standards, testing capabilities, and training systems into vocational colleges, incorporating international testing and certification methods for charging piles, energy storage testing, and high-voltage safety into professional courses. Using real testing projects as teaching cases, it builds a full-chain training system of “courses—training—qualification certification—employment,” targeting the targeted delivery of high-skilled talent to China’s new energy industry.

In her speech, Chen Qun stated: “Over the years, our college has maintained a strong foundation of teaching cooperation with TÜV Rheinland. The joint establishment of the New Energy Vehicle Charging and Energy Storage Testing Center is a deepening and extension of our collaboration. We look forward to enhancing students’ practical skills and employment competitiveness by introducing international testing standards and training resources. In the future, Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College will continue to deepen industry-education integration, expand the breadth and depth of cooperation, and support the high-quality development of the local new energy industry with high-quality talent supply, aiming to become a national benchmark for industry-education integration in the new energy sector.”

Dong Bin commented: “As a leading international third-party testing and certification organization, TÜV Rheinland has always supported the high-quality development of China’s new energy industry with professional expertise. The joint establishment of this testing center with the college not only effectively strengthens third-party testing resources for new energy charging piles and energy storage in the Fujian region but also addresses pain points such as long testing cycles, high costs of remote testing, unclear standards, and a shortage of professional talent. In the future, TÜV Rheinland will continue to leverage its international network and local rapid-response advantages to support industrial clustering and drive the high-quality development of Fujian’s new energy industry.”

In his remarks, Carlo Humberg emphasized that TÜV Rheinland, as an international independent third-party testing and certification organization with a history of over 150 years, is committed to promoting the internationalization of technical standards and industrial development. In response to global trends in new energy vehicles and energy storage industries, TÜV Rheinland will assist colleges in building curriculum systems and talent certification standards that meet international requirements, empowering industrial upgrading through educational innovation. This will cultivate high-quality talent with both international perspectives and professional skills for the China-Europe new energy industry. Additionally, TÜV Rheinland will continue to export mature industry-education integration models, actively build international exchange platforms for colleges, and promote faculty and student exchanges and joint training, supporting the internationalization of China’s vocational education.

In the future, both parties will be guided by international standards, driven by industrial needs, and centered on talent cultivation, striving to create a benchmark model for government-enterprise-school collaboration and industry-education integration. TÜV Rheinland will also partner with more vocational colleges to accelerate the training of professional and high-skilled talent in China, providing comprehensive and multi-level talent support for the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry.
