Beijing Wuzi University (hereinafter “BWU”), founded in 1980, is a higher education institution specializing in logistics and distribution. It currently enrolls approximately 8,000 students across nine undergraduate faculties and 28 majors. Among them, the School of Logistics, established in 2006, ranks among the top in China in this field, boasting well-equipped teaching facilities and an outstanding research environment.
NX China signed a strategic cooperation letter of intent with BWU in 2012, and has since established the “NX Scholarship,” held endowed lectures, launched the “NX International Logistics Class,” and continuously deepened industry-academia collaboration through various initiatives. To further strengthen its long-term partnership with BWU, NX China also introduced a comprehensive human resource development program called the “Nippon Express Series.”
During the 18th endowed lecture, Zuo Jingcheng, General Manager of the Business Strategy Division at NX China, delivered a speech on the theme “NX China’s Organizational Structure and Digital Transformation/Innovation,” introducing students to practical cases and cutting-edge initiatives in the logistics industry. At the subsequent scholarship award ceremony, scholarship certificates were presented to ten recipients for the 2026 academic year. This recognized their achievements to date and encouraged them to showcase their talents on the global logistics stage in the future, thereby contributing to industrial and social development. This year’s scholarship recipients also participated in a new activity—planting six cherry blossom trees in a campus tree-planting event. Involving these next-generation leaders in tree planting provided a meaningful opportunity to strengthen environmental awareness while adding a touch of greenery to the campus.
