Philips’ investment in upgrading this base aims to further strengthen its local innovation and smart manufacturing footprint, driving supply chain upgrades. The upgraded Philips Respironics Shenzhen production and R&D base will focus on high-complexity, high-value-added processes, undertaking core functions such as new product introduction, precision manufacturing, and automated process development. Products will be sold to global markets including North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Leveraging the integrated advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the base will deeply integrate into regional coordinated development, enabling rapid flow of raw materials, talent, and technology. It will become Philips’ premier production and supply center for global respiratory business in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as a key hub serving the world within Philips’ global supply chain.
