From April 25 to May 6, 2026, the X-SPACE Fujifilm Imaging Space (hereinafter referred to as “X-SPACE”) will host the “We Meet in Spring” series of events, featuring exhibitions, concerts, immersive light shows, and themed sharing sessions. These activities invite friends to pick up their cameras, appreciate the overlooked scenery around them, see each other’s worlds through the lens, and capture every moment full of vitality.
Co-created by Five Thousand People: The “Seasons’ Ballade” Exhibition Brings Ordinary People’s Four Seasons into the Imaging Space
In early March this year, X-SPACE, together with 11 Impression Fuji experience centers and stores nationwide, launched a call for submissions for the large-scale spring photography exhibition “Seasons’ Ballade.” To date, it has received submissions from nearly 5,500 creators, each work carrying the authors’ own seasonal stories. Renowned photography blogger Wu Xiaolong served as the curator, selecting outstanding pieces from these seasonal records to compile the four-season sentiments seen through thousands of eyes.
From April 25 to May 6, the “Seasons’ Ballade” exhibition will be held at X-SPACE locations in Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, and Hangzhou, as well as 11 Impression Fuji experience centers and stores nationwide. During the exhibition, Wu Xiaolong will also visit the X-SPACE live stream on May 1 to share behind-the-scenes stories of the exhibition and comment on outstanding works.
The ‘Seasons’ Ballade’ exhibition opens simultaneously in multiple cities
As a prelude to the exhibition, on April 25, the premiere concerts of “Seasons’ Ballade” will be held simultaneously in Shanghai, Nanjing, and Hangzhou, resonating with the urban rhythms through classical music, electronic music, and jazz, respectively. Works from over 600 creators selected from the first batch of submissions in the three cities will form three light-and-shadow feature films of “Seasons’ Ballade,” which will be screened at the premiere events. Music and on-screen visuals will intertwine in real-time, lending a special sense of ceremony to the moments captured by the creators. To celebrate the highlight moments of these 600-plus creators, X-SPACE has specially prepared limited-edition spring sweatshirts for the selected creators attending the premieres.

To thank the participating creators of the “Seasons’ Ballade” exhibition, X-SPACE has also prepared fun “plant can” blind boxes. From April 25 to May 25, participating creators are welcome to visit X-SPACE in person to collect them. This also serves as an invitation to join the “Project Spring Planting, Autumn Harvest” life recording challenge—using a camera to document the entire process of plant seeds sprouting, growing, blooming, and bearing fruit. These works recording the trajectory of life will be warmly presented at the X-SPACE “Friends Month” autumn exhibition in October this year.

Spring Surprises Added: Immersive Light Show and Four-City Sharing Sessions
In addition to the “Seasons’ Ballade” exhibition, X-SPACE has prepared more deeply immersive imaging experiences this spring.
“Light and Shadow Wanderlust • Immersive Imaging Light Show”: This light show received widespread acclaim at FUJIKINA in Beijing. After completing its tour in Hangzhou, it will be held at X-SPACE • Nanjing from April 22 to May 6. As viewers are surrounded by a space enclosed by massive curved screens, they will immerse themselves in global natural and urban landscapes through ultra-high-definition images captured by Fujifilm’s GFX 100-megapixel medium-format cameras and presented via 4K projectors.
Lectures and Sharing Sessions: Concurrently with the “Seasons’ Ballade” exhibition, X-SPACE locations in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, and Beijing will host a series of themed lectures and work-sharing sessions, discussing the philosophy behind the lens, techniques for capturing light, and exploring “the meaning of spring.”
