GuangzhouMay 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The 139th Canton Fair concluded successfully on May 5. At a pivotal moment marking the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan, this edition of the Fair saw multiple indicators—including “new, green, and smart” products, overseas buyers, and top-tier buyers—surpass those of previous sessions. Amid a complex external environment, the 139th Canton Fair gathered global merchants with an open stance, showcased Chinese manufacturing with innovative intelligence, and built trade bridges with exceptional services, demonstrating the resilience and vitality of China’s foreign trade, as well as China’s determination and commitment to expanding high-level opening-up.

A Gathering of Thousands of Merchants, Expanding the “Circle of Friends.” Crossing mountains and seas for a “rendezvous with China,” new and old merchants encountered “China’s intelligence,” “China’s green,” and “China’s beauty” here.
