Natural Gas, the Natural Alternative Fuel
The N67 NG and CURSOR 13 NG engines, produced at FPT Industrial’s plant in Córdoba, Argentina, can run on natural gas and/or biomethane. They offer sugar-energy companies the opportunity to achieve energy self-sufficiency, along with advantages such as low CO2 emissions, excellent performance, low fuel consumption, and reduced maintenance costs.
The N67 NG natural gas engine is a 6.7-liter six-cylinder engine delivering 206 kW (276 hp) at 2,000 rpm and a torque of 1,000 Nm at 1,000 rpm. It is suitable for both on-road applications (like the model on display) and off-road applications. This engine meets Euro VI emission standards and can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 10% compared to equivalent diesel engines under the World Harmonized Transient Cycle.
The CURSOR 13 NG natural gas engine is a six-cylinder 12.9-liter engine equipped with a multi-point injection system, delivering a maximum power of 338 kW (460 hp) and a torque of 2,000 Nm at 1,100 rpm. It is the most environmentally advantageous power option for long-haul road transport. This model uses a three-way catalyst after-treatment system, complies with Euro VI standards, and has lower CO2 emissions than diesel engines. When fueled with biomethane, its emissions can approach net-zero. This model can be equipped with LNG tanks with a capacity of up to 900 liters, providing a range of over 1,500 km.
The F1C engine is the only natural gas power solution for light commercial vehicles and pickup applications, offering an efficient solution for daily operations in the agricultural sector. This 3-liter four-cylinder engine features a common rail electronic injection (ECR) system, with a power output range from 95 kW to 152 kW (127 to 205 hp) and a torque output range from 300 to 600 Nm. It meets Euro VI emission regulations and sets a benchmark in maintenance, offering higher uptime and greater ease of use.
Innovative New Technologies for Power Generation Applications
The R24 and R38 series made their debut at Agrishow 2026, providing robust power, excellent reliability, efficient performance, and low operating costs for stationary and industrial applications such as power generation and electric pumps. Both models feature a single-side maintenance design, making servicing quick and convenient, maximizing equipment uptime.
The R24 is a 2.45-liter four-cylinder model, dual-frequency 1,500 / 1,800 rpm, supporting 50 / 60 Hz operation, with a rated power range between 26 and 46 kVA. This four-cylinder G-Drive engine has a compact layout, integrating the engine, radiator, and air filter into a compact assembly, occupying less space.
In the same series, the R38 is a 3.8-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering a power output of 55 to 65 kW at 2,500 rpm in the Industrial Power Unit (IPU) version. In the genset configuration, this model operates at 1,500 rpm or 1,800 rpm, supporting 50 / 60 Hz, with an output power between 60 and 72 kVA. This model also integrates the cooling and filtration systems for easier daily maintenance.

The NEF series, designed for agricultural equipment performing the most demanding tasks, is a classic example of FPT Industrial’s technological excellence.
