Constructor Group today announced the relocation of its global headquarters to Singapore.
Constructor Group’s decision to establish itself in Singapore came after an extensive international evaluation of leading global tech destinations. The Singapore government has welcomed this move, viewing it as a contribution to strengthening the country’s ecosystem in AI and quantum technology, as well as enhancing its capabilities in research and education.
Dr. Serg Bell, Founder and Chairman of Constructor Group, stated: “Singapore offers one of the world’s top-tier tech and research environments, and government support has opened new doors for us. The entire Constructor Group ecosystem—research, education, deep tech, and capital—will now be united in one place, defining what AI and quantum technology mean for industry and education over the next decade.”
Why Singapore
This decision highlights Singapore’s outstanding status as a globally recognized innovation and technology hub. Singapore consistently ranks among the world’s leading economies in indicators such as innovation, talent competitiveness, and global connectivity, including ranking first in the 2026 Henley Passport Index and remaining in the top five of the WIPO Global Innovation Index. The country is also continuously strengthening its AI and deep tech ecosystem under the National AI Strategy 2.0 framework, supported by sustained investments in infrastructure, research, and talent development.
Singapore has become a key regional base for numerous leading tech companies, including OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, and Workato, reflecting its appeal as a center for tech innovation, talent, and enterprise adoption. Constructor’s move aligns with these broader ecosystem trends.
Philbert Gomez, Senior Vice President, Executive Director, and Head of the Digital Industry Singapore, said: “Digital Industry Singapore welcomes Constructor Group’s plans to establish an AI and Quantum Center of Excellence in Singapore. This investment will further strengthen Singapore’s growing deep tech ecosystem and create valuable opportunities for collaboration with our research and corporate partners.
