Under the agreement, Anker Innovations has obtained a license to Powermat’s wireless power patent portfolio, covering technologies related to Qi and Q2 functionalities, including magnetic alignment. Before the establishment of today’s global standards, Powermat was one of the first companies to launch commercial wireless charging products in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, and continues to contribute to the development of the wireless power ecosystem through its intellectual property.
