Launching first in the U.S. on June 1, with international markets to follow this fall
ROCHESTER, N.Y.June 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Fee Brothers, a fifth-generation family-owned flavor company, is launching its first line of water-soluble fat-wash products, making savory cocktails faster, more consistent, and easier for bars to execute. The initial lineup features three flavors—Bacon, Roasted Duck, and Browned Butter—offering bartenders a simple, shelf-stable way to add depth, aroma, and a silky mouthfeel without the traditional fat-washing process.

As a fifth-generation family-owned flavor company, Fee Brothers is launching its first water-soluble fat-wash line.
“We love savory cocktails so much that we started experimenting with fat-washing at home,” said Jon Spacher, President and CEO of Fee Brothers. “Once we developed a water-soluble version that delivered the same flavor and texture, we couldn’t wait to share it.”
The fat-washing process has long been used to add rich layers and complex flavors to cocktails, but traditional methods often require hours or even days of infusion, freezer space, filtration, and ingredient waste. Fee Brothers’ fat-wash eliminates these cumbersome steps while preserving the flavor profile and texture that bartenders expect. This water-soluble line blends seamlessly into cocktails without greasiness or separation. Just a few drops add thickness and roundness, delivering a luxurious mouthfeel.
As savory cocktails continue to gain popularity, bar operators are seeking ways to offer these flavors without compromising speed or increasing labor costs. Fee Brothers’ fat-wash is designed to help operators serve savory cocktails in high-volume settings while ensuring consistency across shifts and locations.
“It’s absolutely game-changing,” said Matt Green, founder and operator of Aqua Vitae. “It’s pure efficiency with none of the mess.”
Operational efficiency was a key focus during development. This innovation helps reduce ingredient and prep costs while creating opportunities to improve profit margins by eliminating the need to fat-wash entire bottles of spirits. By cutting out time-consuming preparation steps, Fee Brothers’ fat-wash helps operators protect margins and more reliably offer savory cocktails. It provides a way for bars to enhance the guest experience without adding to back-of-house burdens.
All three flavors are available in 5-ounce bottles with dropper caps. The line is gluten-free and formulated for flavor stability. Under proper storage conditions, the fat-wash has a recommended shelf life of three years from the production date.
The U.S. launch date is June 1, followed by broad distribution through distributors and select online retailers. An EU launch is scheduled for October at Bar Convent Berlin, where Fee Brothers anticipates strong interest from craft cocktail bars and high-traffic venues.
