HIMSS26 APAC will bring together leaders from healthcare systems across Asia Pacific and the globe, government officials, clinicians, and technology innovators to focus on the defining challenge of the moment: transforming AI development visions into scalable, evidence-based practical outcomes.
Under the theme “Trust, Intelligence and Agility: Re-engineering APAC Health Systems in the AI Era,” the three-day conference will feature an exclusive pre-conference CXO AI Summit, a two-day main forum with parallel sessions, an industry exhibition, select benchmarking hospital visits, and executive networking activities. It aims to provide a high-quality platform for attendees to engage in peer discussions, gain cutting-edge insights, and connect with valuable resources.

Strategic Partnership with SingHealth
HIMSS26 APAC is co-hosted by HIMSS and SingHealth, Singapore’s largest public healthcare group. This collaboration highlights Singapore’s strategic advantage as a digital health innovation hub in Asia Pacific. Through this partnership, HIMSS26 APAC attendees will also have direct access to teams responsible for Singapore’s national healthcare data strategy, AI governance framework, and digital maturity programs.
Benedict Tan, Chief Digital Strategy Officer and Chief Data Officer of SingHealth Group, and a HIMSS Board member, will deliver keynote speeches at both the CXO AI Summit and the conference opening ceremony. This underscores SingHealth’s commitment to leading other healthcare institutions in applying AI in a trustworthy, transparent manner to achieve measurable outcomes.
Three Days of High-Level Dialogues
The conference agenda addresses the most pressing concerns for healthcare system leaders: Is AI return on investment the wrong metric? What should a smart hospital in the AI era look like? What distinguishes healthcare organizations that scale innovations from those still in pilot phases?
The conference will open on August 23 with an invitation-only CXO AI Summit. This executive forum will challenge conventional thinking on AI ROI, governance, and the foundations for enterprise-wide scaling. The summit will feature keynote speeches by Hal Wolf and Benedict Tan, with roundtable discussions moderated by Dr. Anne Snowdon, HIMSS Chief Scientific Officer, and Tom Leary, HIMSS Senior Vice President and Head of Government Relations. During the main conference from August 24 to 25, the program will first showcase outstanding digital maturity achievements, followed by two days of keynotes, executive addresses, and presentations from government representatives across Asia Pacific. Parallel sessions will cover topics including AI digital infrastructure, clinical AI, operational AI, smart hospitals, and intelligent healthcare systems. Insights from senior leaders in health authorities and top digital healthcare organizations from South Korea, Australia, Singapore, and other Asia Pacific regions will run throughout.
The conference will conclude with a cross-industry roundtable, inviting experts from healthcare technology, clinical management, and other fields to explore what healthcare can learn from industries already reshaped by AI.
