During the award ceremony, prizes were presented in the order of third, second, and first prizes, with dozens of outstanding students from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and the School of Electronic Information Engineering receiving honors. Among them, four students—Tang Zhenbang, Huang Siwei, Xing Shuoxuan, and Li Haozhe—won the first prize for their excellent academic performance.
After the awards, a sharing and exchange session followed. TÜV SÜD’s Sun Biao, Li Hongfeng, and Sun Fengqian delivered thematic presentations on the group’s development overview, smart manufacturing and cutting-edge industry trends, workplace innovation practices, and youth career growth, addressing student questions with industry examples. Six award-winning student representatives, including Jiang Shangwei, Cao Jiaqi, and Huang Siwei, shared their experiences in course learning, academic competitions, and research projects, showcasing the diligent and exploratory spirit of Hebei University of Technology students.
Subsequently, Lan Tian from Hebei University of Technology accompanied TÜV SÜD guests on a visit to the university’s Student Science and Technology Association. The association’s innovation team was recognized as a “Deng Xiaoping Science and Technology Innovation Team” by the Communist Youth League Central Committee and the All-China Youth Federation, among others. This honor is a benchmark award in the field of national university student innovation, established to reward youth scientific and technological innovation, with the first batch of 100 teams selected in 2014. During the visit, Lan Tian highlighted the team’s innovation achievements and fruitful results: the exhibition hall displayed various national-level science and technology competition awards, invention patents, and computer software copyrights. Notably, the “Guangwei Qianxun” project won the gold medal at the 2025 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition, marking a historic breakthrough for the university, with related cutting-edge technologies now applied in industrialization across multiple leading enterprises.
