SWEP Invests to Expand Global Production Capacity, Continuously Meeting the Growing Demand of Global AI Data Centers

Landskrona, SwedenJune 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SWEP, a subsidiary of Dover Corporation and a leading global supplier of brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs), recently announced continued investment to expand its global production capacity, meeting the growing demand from data centers and industrial and commercial heating/cooling markets worldwide.

This investment plan covers SWEP’s five production facilities globally and will involve the addition of brazing furnaces, testing equipment, stamping lines, and automation equipment. SWEP will also expand its production space at its facility in Tulsa, USA. Delivering efficient heat transfer for customers is SWEP’s long-standing commitment, and this investment is a key measure to fulfill that promise, focusing on applications related to liquid cooling, energy efficiency, and energy security, which are driven by the following factors:

  • AI Data Centers – With the growing demand for computing power, the market urgently needs reliable, high-performance data center cooling solutions to effectively manage the extreme heat generated by high-density operational loads.
  • Industrial and Commercial Heating/Cooling Applications – Electrification is driving the transformation of buildings, industry, and district energy, adopting heat pump and chiller-based systems for heating and cooling. This not only delivers strong return on investment but also supports the sustainable development of refrigerants.

“With the rapid growth of critical infrastructure markets, we are seeing a significant increase in global demand for first-class heat transfer technology. SWEP has long been committed to creating innovative solutions for customers in these fields worldwide, delivering products that ensure excellent performance, reliability, and efficiency. This investment will help us further expand our business, aligning our production capabilities with our customers’ growth ambitions to achieve scale-level delivery of heating and cooling systems,” said Ulrika Nordqvist, President of SWEP.

This new investment plan is a further expansion of SWEP’s previously announced global multi-year investment program, focusing on enhancing employee capabilities, increasing automation levels, and introducing more sustainable manufacturing processes. SWEP is dedicated to providing customers with world-leading heat exchange solutions, improving energy efficiency, and contributing to a carbon-neutral and sustainable green future.
