Kepler Accelerates Commercialization, Leveraging Hangzhou Kelin to Drive Strategic Upgrade

ShanghaiJune 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On June 5, Hangzhou Kelin Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hangzhou Kelin”) held its first extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in 2026, approving the “Proposal on Acquiring Partial Equity of Investee Company Shanghai Kepler Robot Co., Ltd. and Obtaining Control.”

As early as December 2025, Hangzhou Kelin made a strategic investment in Kepler. On May 19 of this year, Hangzhou Kelin issued another announcement, proposing to acquire 41.57% of Kepler’s equity with self-raised funds not exceeding 300 million yuan. Combined with its previous shareholding, after the transaction is completed, Hangzhou Kelin’s total shareholding ratio will reach 51%.

Prior to this, Kepler had received investments from companies such as Noblelift, MBI, Taotao Vehicle, Fuerde, Weichuang Electric, Keli Sensing, Zhaofeng Stock, Hanwei Technology, and Qiaofeng Intelligent.

Solidifying the Technology Closed Loop: Commercialization Foundation Gradually Strengthened

In 2025, Kepler was in a phase of technology refinement and scenario validation, with multi-factory POC trials and operational condition adaptation as core goals. Entering 2026, Kepler’s orders have grown rapidly, with current orders in hand exceeding 47 million yuan, all of which are commercial deployment orders from repeat customers, covering scenarios such as automotive manufacturing, precision machining, intelligent logistics, high-altitude special operations, commercial services, and production-education training.

Underpinning this change is Kepler’s completion of a core strategic upgrade, evolving into a full-stack intelligent solution enterprise integrating “self-developed hardware + real-world data accumulation + embodied intelligence brain,” with continuously improving product intelligence levels, complex scenario adaptation capabilities, and comprehensive market competitiveness.

The upgraded Kepler and Hangzhou Kelin are complementary in technology — Kepler has technical expertise in humanoid bodies, hybrid actuators, overall architecture, and industrial operation algorithms, which can supplement Hangzhou Kelin’s technology layout in the humanoid robot field; Hangzhou Kelin’s technologies in six-dimensional force sensors, industrial dexterous hands, and power sensing components can enhance Kepler’s “perception-decision-execution” full-chain self-developed system.

At the industrial application level, Hangzhou Kelin’s engineering experience and customer resources in intelligent perception and early warning, as well as intelligent operation and maintenance of energy equipment, are expected to drive the large-scale deployment of Kepler’s embodied intelligence technology in scenarios such as power and industrial maintenance.

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council officially launched the 2026 Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence Real-World Training Special Action, focusing on key scenarios in industrial, service, and special fields, aiming to drive the formation of a 10,000-unit scale deployment capability by the end of 2026. The policy core advocates real-world robot training, and Kepler has been laying the groundwork since 2024, creating China’s only dedicated training ground for industrial real-world humanoid robots, and one of the few training sites in the industry capable of supporting continuous long-duration operations of machines. This policy dividend release also brings strong external support for Kepler’s full-stack technology deployment and large-scale commercialization process.

Receiving Four-Dimensional Empowerment: Key Focus on Power Application Scenarios

For Kepler, joining Hangzhou Kelin is expected to bring empowerment in four dimensions: funding, channels, supply chain, and brand, injecting momentum into future development.

In terms of funding, Kepler has already achieved phased development from technology validation to order growth. Hangzhou Kelin’s resource support will help Kepler advance core technology breakthroughs, capacity expansion, and market expansion.

In terms of channels, the power sector is one of the key areas for humanoid robot deployment. The State Grid recently internally issued the “2026 Embodied Intelligence Development Plan,” planning to invest approximately 6.8 billion yuan this year to centrally procure various types of embodied intelligent equipment. The industry expects that the total investment in embodied intelligence in the power sector in 2026 could exceed 10 billion yuan.

Hangzhou Kelin is a high-tech enterprise rooted in the smart grid field, focusing on power IoT construction. Combined with its grid government-enterprise channels and power project implementation experience, Kepler’s validated industrial solutions for high-altitude special operations, intelligent inspection, heavy-load material handling, and complex environment adaptation can precisely target four major scenarios: power inspection, live-line work, emergency rescue, and warehousing and logistics.

In terms of supply chain, if the two parties complete integration, Kepler can leverage Hangzhou Kelin’s industrial supply chain system to optimize costs, improve production efficiency, and accelerate delivery processes.

In terms of brand, the brand credibility and market recognition of a listed company provide trust endorsement for Kepler, helping it gain more recognition in the B2B market.

Releasing Full-Modal Large Model: Major New Product Set to Debut

Beyond external empowerment, Kepler continues to advance its technology and product layout.

On the technology front, Kepler recently released the Kepler-OmniVTLA full-modal large model. Leveraging its self-developed native data collection system, it has accumulated over 100,000 full-modal real-world data points, replicating real task chains at a 1:1 ratio, covering diverse scenarios such as industrial, commercial, and home environments, accumulating over twenty industry-specific skills, and adapting to more than forty real-world deployment scenarios.

On the product front, Kepler will officially unveil its annual new product at WAIC 2026 — the Mechanical Kirin. This is Kepler’s self-developed dual-form, long-endurance, heavy-load quadruped robot, available in two models: a rideable version and a flatbed heavy-load version. Relying on its self-developed planetary roller screw linear actuator, it can achieve a maximum static load of 300 kg, a continuous endurance of over 8 hours at full load, support 45° slope climbing, and IP-rated waterproofing. Teaming up with the existing K2 Bumblebee, the Mechanical Kirin can undertake high-intensity load-carrying and transport tasks in scenarios such as border logistics, emergency rescue, and field material delivery.

From technology foundation building to order volume growth, from product matrix expansion to key scenario targeting, Kepler is continuously strengthening its capability reserves for large-scale deployment. As the industry competition enters a new phase focused on delivery and scenario depth, Kepler is committed to advancing the chain from real-world training to commercial deployment, promoting the large-scale adoption of humanoid robots.
