Since 2023, SGS and Adisseo have officially initiated strategic cooperation in the low-carbon field. The two parties have focused on core vitamin products in the China region, with SGS assisting Adisseo in continuously driving its supplier factories in China to comprehensively carry out LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) projects for vitamin products. Over three years of deep cultivation and solid implementation, the project teams from both sides have worked efficiently and closely together, steadily completing the LCA lifecycle assessments for dozens of core vitamin products.
At the signing ceremony, Wang Jian, General Manager of SGS China’s Agri-Food Division, stated in his speech that SGS, leveraging its standardized LCA accounting system, has helped Adisseo quantify the environmental impact of each product throughout the entire process, from raw material procurement and production processing to finished product delivery. With authentic and rigorous professional data, this has provided solid data support and a professional basis for the company’s green product iterative development, production process optimization, and low-carbon strategic layout, while also laying a strong practical foundation for this strategic cooperation upgrade.

Duan Xiaohui, Global Procurement Manager of Adisseo Vitamins, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, highly commending the achievements of the three-year deep low-carbon cooperation between the two parties and elaborating on the company’s sustainable development layout and future cooperation vision. He stated that vitamins are indispensable core micronutrients for the feed and livestock industry, but the industry chain is long and carbon-intensive, making full-chain carbon reduction a key to industry transformation.
