This marks the first large-scale water folk activity hosted by the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (also known as Beijing Yizhuang).
This Dragon Boat Festival Carnival leverages the ecological assets of Nanhaizi Park, delving into the historical heritage of “Southern Hunting Ground Autumn Breeze” and the ecological brand of “Père David’s Deer,” to innovatively create three distinctive scenarios: the Dragon Boat Festival market, park culture, and outdoor sports.
The event is co-hosted by the Social Affairs Bureau of Beijing E-Town, the Federation of Trade Unions of Beijing E-Town, Beijing Yizhuang International Talent Development Group, and Beijing Nanhaizi Investment Management Co., Ltd. It will officially commence at 9:00 AM on June 19. The competition uses standard 12-person dragon boats, divided into a general mixed group and a youth mixed group. A total of 24 teams have been confirmed to participate (14 in the general mixed group and 10 in the youth mixed group), with government, enterprises, and universities competing side by side, showcasing a spirit of unity and progress.
