TianjinJune 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — During a visit to China, the global executive team of Novo Nordisk announced an additional investment of 200 million RMB in its strategic production base in Tianjin to enhance the assembly capacity of 1.5ml FlexTouch® injection pens. Once completed, the project will significantly boost the production capacity and supply efficiency of high-quality products, better meeting the growing and diverse medication needs of Chinese patients.

As one of Novo Nordisk’s global strategic production bases, the Tianjin plant supplies injection devices and finished pharmaceutical products to China and other countries. The production and sustainable supply of the company’s products rely on advanced manufacturing processes, high-quality standards, and large-scale production capabilities. Novo Nordisk has decades of experience in highly specialized manufacturing, with production processes strictly adhering to the highest international regulatory standards and quality systems.
