ShanghaiJune 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On June 23, 2026, Elkem Silicones officially announced its rebranding to “Bluestar Silicones.” This follows the completion of China National BlueStar (Group) Co., Ltd.’s acquisition of core assets of Elkem’s silicone business on April 30, 2026. The name change marks a significant milestone in the company’s transformation.
The name “Bluestar Silicones” was previously used between 2007 and 2017. Its revival helps the company re-establish a strong connection with this globally recognized, industry-leading brand identity. At the same time, the newly unveiled brand visual identity and slogan “Living the difference” further underscore the company’s forward-looking strategy and unique positioning in the silicone market.

Current production bases, manufacturing processes, raw material systems, product names, and commercial trademarks will all remain the same.
