SingaporeJune 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Against the backdrop of growing global demand for industrial water treatment and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) solutions, Singapore-based integrated brine management company MediSun Energy announced during the 2026 Singapore International Water Week (SIWW 2026) a strategic partnership with Fujian Yanrun Membrane Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yanrun Membrane Environmental Technology”), a Chinese high-tech enterprise and pioneer in advanced electro-membrane technology. The two companies will jointly establish a new joint venture in Singapore to accelerate the commercial promotion and deployment of advanced water treatment and resource recycling solutions in the international market.

Under the partnership, the two parties will establish a joint venture led and operated by MediSun Energy. The new company will serve as the exclusive international commercialization platform for the combined technologies and solutions outside mainland China, coordinating global market expansion, project development, commercial deployment, and channel building for related technologies and systems.
The new company will drive the international development, manufacturing, and distribution of a range of advanced water treatment systems, including bipolar membrane electrodialysis systems (EDBM), metathesis electrodialysis systems (EDM), electrodialysis membrane stack systems (ED), pressurized forward osmosis systems (PFO), and integrated zero liquid discharge (ZLD) solutions, offering industrial customers more efficient and sustainable water resource management pathways.
Leveraging MediSun Energy’s extensive international network and expertise in energy-efficient brine management and resource utilization, combined with Yanrun Membrane Environmental Technology’s deep R&D capabilities and manufacturing experience in advanced electro-driven membranes and bipolar membrane technology, the two companies will jointly address challenges posed by global water scarcity and increasingly stringent environmental regulations, with a focus on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and Southeast Asian markets.
