Dubai and ShanghaiJune 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Emirates SkyCargo is reinforcing its commitment to facilitating trade between China and the world. The air freight carrier is ensuring that Chinese manufactured goods, including advanced electronics, high-tech products, and pharmaceuticals, reach global destinations seamlessly with exceptional speed and efficiency by enhancing dedicated freighter services to the region.

Emirates SkyCargo strengthens commitment to China market
Emirates SkyCargo has increased its weekly freighter flights to Hong Kong SAR to 37, making it the carrier’s largest cargo hub outside of Dubai. Each freighter has a capacity of approximately 100 tons, providing robust cargo connectivity support for the export-oriented Greater Bay Area.
Additionally, Emirates SkyCargo has expanded its freighter network to central China, launching three weekly cargo flights from Zhengzhou. This connects Henan Province, an industrial hub, with Dubai and beyond, while offering local exporters a vital logistics channel to global markets.
Emirates SkyCargo also operates an extensive cargo network covering multiple production centers in Mainland China, including seven weekly freighter flights to Shanghai, six to Guangzhou, and one weekly freighter service to Beijing.
In addition to freighter services, Emirates SkyCargo leverages the belly-hold capacity of its wide-body passenger aircraft to provide seamless, high-frequency, and high-volume cargo solutions for various Chinese industries. Currently, Emirates SkyCargo transports goods via daily double flights to and from Beijing and Shanghai, three daily flights to and from Hong Kong SAR, and daily single flights to and from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou.

Between the 2024/25 and 2025/26 fiscal years, cargo volume transported by Emirates SkyCargo from Mainland China to its global network grew by over 11% year-on-year. In the 2025/26 fiscal year, Emirates SkyCargo transported nearly 100,000 tons of goods. This significant growth reflects robust market demand and underscores Emirates SkyCargo’s pivotal role in connecting Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR’s export hubs with a route network spanning over 150 global destinations.
Emirates SkyCargo will showcase its services at transport logistic China 2026, Asia’s largest air cargo and logistics trade exhibition, from June 24 to 26, 2026. This reaffirms the carrier’s strong commitment to facilitating trade to, from, and through Dubai for China and the broader East and Southeast Asia regions.
Badr Abbas, Emirates SkyCargo Senior Vice President, stated: “Our deep investment in China underscores our vital role in facilitating trade in one of the world’s most dynamic manufacturing hubs.
