Compiled by the Xinhua Index Research Institute, the index adopts a multi-dimensional evaluation perspective spanning different wine types, production regions, and cultures for the first time. It systematically assesses 94 representative wineries from 23 countries and regions across six continents, establishing a global multi-dimensional evaluation system for wineries that offers explanatory power, comparability, and strategic reference value.

The “World Winery Influence Index” builds a five-dimensional evaluation model based on rooting strength, driving force, vitality, radiating influence, and sustainability. Relying on this evaluation system, the 94 sample wineries globally present a clear tiered structure, divided into 10 leading-level, 35 high-quality-level, 37 backbone-level, and 12 distinctive-level wineries.

Among them, China’s Langjiu Winery, with its outstanding performance in “radiating influence” and “sustainability,” became the only Chinese baijiu winery to be ranked in the “leading-level” category. Langjiu Winery has creatively transformed the complex “growth, storage, and aging” process system of Chinese baijiu into an immersive experience scenario that receives over 200,000 visitors annually, successfully constructing a winery narrative system capable of dialoguing with the world, serving as a landmark example of the rise of Chinese wineries.

Industry experts believe that the release of the “World Winery Influence Index” not only provides a “reference framework” for global wineries to benchmark their development but also offers important insights for the winery-oriented and international development path of Chinese baijiu. It will effectively promote higher-quality integrated development among global wineries through mutual learning among civilizations.

The Winery Culture (Left Bank of the Chishui River) Conference was co-hosted by the China Economic Information Service and Sichuan Langjiu Co., Ltd. With the theme “Heritage and Innovation,” the conference brought together global winery wisdom, built a high-level dialogue platform, and promoted the global wine industry’s transition from “classic heritage” to “value renewal,” helping China’s wine industry achieve “cultural going global.”
