  • Better Investment: Delivering high returns through rapid delivery and lower costs. Taking a 1GWh energy storage station as an example, from construction to grid connection, delivery time can be shortened by approximately 30%; system auxiliary facility costs (BOP), including land rent, cables, construction fees, and labor costs, can be reduced by over 20%.
  • Higher Returns: Continuously improving round-trip efficiency (RTE), availability, consistency, and SOC accuracy to achieve higher discharge capacity throughout the lifecycle, thereby creating higher returns. Taking a 12.5MW/50MWh energy storage station as an example, assuming a 20-year lifecycle, peak-valley arbitrage at an electricity price of 11 cents per kWh, cycling once daily throughout the year, compared to traditional solutions, Huawei LUTERRA can increase the customer’s full lifecycle discharge capacity by over 10%, thereby generating an additional revenue of 5.48 cents/Wh.
  • Plant-Level Grid-Forming: Six plant-level grid-forming capabilities, including short-circuit capacity support, wide-frequency oscillation damping, inertia response, primary frequency regulation, black start, and grid-connected/off-grid switching, can unlock higher return potential.
  • C2G Safety: Huawei Smart PV pioneered the full lifecycle safety quantitative assessment system for electrochemical energy storage systems and the energy storage system safety risk map (RMAP). Under this system, by focusing on hazard severity and hazard occurrence probability, the safety risks of energy storage products are assessed at levels A, B, and C, where Level A is unacceptable, Level B is risk mitigated, and Level C indicates overall controllable risk.
