Adidas “Avant Sport” Features Wang Anyu in a Pioneering Showcase of the 26 Fall Collection

Wang Anyu is the first to showcase the new FUTURE OF STYLE collection, exploring the connections between body, emotion, and style.


The new collection extends the avant-garde looks from Wang Anyu’s appearance at the “POWER OF THREE” three-stripe show during Shanghai Fashion Week last October into everyday wear, integrating the futuristic functional aesthetics of the runway into real-life scenarios. The design draws inspiration from the athletic heritage of the brand’s classic archival jackets, blending the speed and dynamic trajectories from track to street, translating the avant-garde designs originally seen on the runway into lighter, more fluid everyday functional silhouettes. adidas Sportswear’s new visual identity also debuts this season. Building on adidas’ vertical mountain logo, it integrates the silhouette of “FUTURE OF STYLE” to create a more distinctive brand visual identity, which runs through product details as a series identifier, further refining the brand’s visual system for future style expression.


adidas Sportswear’s July new product — the plaid woven shirt, features lightweight plaid textured fabric, combined with structural cut lines inspired by track design language, integrating contrasting details into the overall silhouette, balancing lightness and layering, enriching the wearing options for short-sleeve shirt items in summer and urban settings.


The plaid woven jacket launching in August features a dark gray tone with light yellow breathable structural panels, combined with a lapel design and adjustable hem details, incorporating fashion elements on a functional base, suitable for diverse scenarios such as urban commuting.


In footwear, the mountain-inspired outdoor shoe HOLO PEAK “Phantom Peak” takes inspiration from mountain contours, transforming topographic lines into layered side visuals on the shoe body. The summer version enhances lightness while offering a more summer-friendly wearing experience through low-saturation colors and a refreshing visual texture. The XLG RUNNER DELUXE 2.0 “Light Mecha Shoe 2.0” further upgrades the iconic avant-garde silhouette and maximalist design, with new side TPU structures, a richer mix of materials on the upper, and renewed strap details running through the shoe body, strengthening the overall sense of layering and futuristic expression.
