Constrained by a unified passport, audit trail, and contracts, the platform connects with major large model providers to enable the search, recruitment, integration, management, and coordinated scheduling of AI agents. It aims to build a neutral trading market, supporting cross-domain business interactions for agents across industries.
GEORGETOWN, Cayman Islands, June 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The AI agent recruitment and workforce management platform agnt8x, developed by EightX Labs Ltd, is now officially open to the public via its website agnt8x.ai. Enterprises can follow a management model similar to human teams, connecting with all major large model service providers on the platform to complete the search, recruitment, integration, management, and coordinated scheduling of AI agents in one stop. The entire process is governed by a unified passport, audit trail, and contracts.
Over the past year, major AI research institutions have successively launched agent products, leading to severe fragmentation in the enterprise ecosystem: agents from multiple vendors are deployed in a scattered manner, lacking a unified system for recruitment, integration, audit trails, and management. The industry has yet to see a management system akin to Workday tailored for AI agents. agnt8x serves as a neutral layer platform built on top of various agent service providers.
The platform architecture is built on five core modules: FIND is an ontology-based supply-demand matching platform that pairs agents with business roles as needed; FORGE is an enterprise-specific private directory for integrating self-developed agents; STUDIO provides a nine-step agent integration process; MANAGE acts as the agent workforce control hub, enabling real-time calculation of individual agent profitability, monitoring business compliance status, retaining complete audit records, and performing unified settlement across different vendors, memory layers, and single-task calls; CONDUCTOR supports the coordinated scheduling of multi-vendor, multi-agent clusters within a single interface—a feature unique to the industry.
agnt8x adopts a bilateral trading market model: in addition to the enterprise platform, it includes an independent global developer marketplace where developers can list self-developed agents and applications for commercialization. The platform connects with enterprises in need, and developers can earn recurring monthly revenue as long as their products continue to operate. The developer supply side is now officially live.
The platform offers three deployment options, all sharing the same set of agent resources: a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model for startups to mid-sized enterprises, a single-tenant deployment for large enterprises, and the EMBASSY solution for systemically important institutions and government entities—where the entire platform is deployed within the client’s own Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), preventing agnt8x from accessing any runtime data. All deployment options support both platform-managed keys and customer-provided keys for key management.
agnt8x has also released the EightX Agent Manifest (EAM) v0.1 under the Apache 2.0 open-source license. This open specification defines standards for agents deployable across environments, ensuring that an agent can be compatible with various mainstream runtime environments without being locked into a single vendor’s technology.
The platform’s open-source design extends beyond the agent specification itself. agnt8x is collaborating with authoritative industry bodies to participate in setting standards for agent identity verification and mutual settlement. It plans to enhance the passport’s agent identity verification and settlement capabilities based on emerging industry open standards, with more details to be disclosed in the coming weeks. Agent recruitment is just the starting point; agnt8x’s long-term vision is to enable cross-industry commerce between agents, covering not only the financial sector but also high-demand scarce resources such as AI computing power, advanced computing and quantum computing capabilities, and verified environmental assets, including carbon removal tools.
John Shipman, Founder and CEO of EightX Labs, said: “Every enterprise will build an AI workforce in the future, but the industry currently lacks a supporting management system. agnt8x serves as a recruitment and management layer built on top of AI service providers, helping enterprises expand their business, implement operations, and ensure accountability for the AI workforce. Once agents establish trusted execution capabilities, the next step is to enable cross-industry agent transactions based on open standards and infrastructure not controlled by any single enterprise. An enterprise’s next employee may not be human, but it should, like a human employee, undergo standardized recruitment, onboarding, settlement, and routine management.”
EightX Labs Chairman David Puth is the former CEO of Centre Consortium and CLS Bank; CEO John Shipman is PwC’s first global digital asset leader and former CTO and COO of a top Australian asset management firm; Co-founder Michael Harte has served as Group CIO and COO at three multinational banks. agnt8x is now live at agnt8x.ai.
