As Anta’s first panda-themed concept store, Chengdu ARENA blends the essence of Tianfu with the spirit of sports competition, incorporating localized elements into its spatial expression. The exterior facade uses “multi-form pandas” to showcase the city’s dual nature: a lazy, lounging pose echoes Chengdu’s laid-back character, while a competitive arena stance installation conveys the tension of striving. The interior space takes “bamboo” as its core narrative: the central atrium installation uses bamboo weaving techniques to create a torch shape; the “bamboo steps” staircase mimics the growth posture of bamboo shoots—every design element subtly intertwines the rhythm of sports with the spirit of Shu. Track lines and light dynamics run throughout the space, with product zones for basketball, running, training, and lifestyle displayed separately, transforming the entire store into a vibrant sports “theater,” enhancing the experiential nature of the offline retail scene while aligning with Chengdu’s push for the integration of “culture, commerce, tourism, and sports.”
