This is the first G-LIDE series watch equipped with a heart rate monitoring function.

Since its debut in 1983, G-SHOCK watches have consistently maintained excellent shock resistance while continuously evolving in functionality, structure, and design. The G-LIDE series, specifically crafted for extreme sports, has gained widespread popularity by offering practical features for seaside activities and water sports like surfing, including tide graphs and moon phase data that display tidal movements.
The new GBX-H5600 inherits the seaside sports functionalities of the G-LIDE series and, for the first time, integrates a heart rate monitoring module, providing comprehensive support for a wide range of activities from extreme sports like surfing to daily fitness routines.
The GBX-H5600 is equipped with an optical heart rate sensor and an acceleration sensor, enabling real-time monitoring of physical condition during exercise while recording data such as exercise distance and calorie consumption. This watch offers training functions corresponding to four types of activities: running, walking, gym training, and interval training, aiding in efficient workouts. Through a system developed based on scientific algorithms from Polar Electro, a global leader in wearable sports and health technology, the data captured by the sensors is converted into training analysis results. Users can easily view these detailed data and analysis results in the CASIO WATCHES mobile app, thereby managing their health and improving athletic performance more effectively.
The GBX-H5600 features a high-definition MIP (Memory-in-Pixel) LCD display that remains clearly readable from any angle, even in outdoor environments with direct sunlight.
The bezel is made of translucent resin, creating a see-through texture that reveals the internal structure and gives the watch a fresh, crisp appearance that complements seaside settings. Key resin components such as the bezel, case, and band utilize bio-based resin, a material that helps reduce environmental impact, reflecting an eco-conscious design philosophy.
