As the hydrogen industry in the Asia-Pacific region accelerates toward commercialization, infrastructure demands for safety and performance are rising. Dr. Zhaoxia Yu, Head of Hydrogen Energy Projects for the Industrial Solutions Business Unit at ContiTech Asia-Pacific, stated: “The key to scaling hydrogen is no longer the technology itself, but whether the infrastructure can safely and stably support high-pressure applications. Leveraging our material-driven high-pressure hydrogen refueling solutions, we are continuously enhancing system reliability and engineering capabilities. Our participation in FCVC reflects our ongoing commitment to combining global engineering expertise with local innovation to drive the development and deployment of hydrogen infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region.”

Focusing on high-pressure refueling scenarios, expanding hydrogen infrastructure application capabilities

Expanding hydrogen transport and storage application capabilities

In addition to refueling applications, ContiTech offers a diverse range of solutions for hydrogen transport and storage, including low-pressure hydrogen transfer hoses suitable for operating conditions of 40 to 60 bar, as well as rubber expansion joints for pipeline systems capable of handling up to 100% hydrogen blending.

In the maritime sector, ContiTech provides DNV-certified ammonia transfer hoses that support safe dynamic operations in offshore and nearshore environments. These hoses are suitable for various transfer scenarios, including single-point mooring (SPM), shore-to-ship, and ship-to-ship operations, facilitating the large-scale transport of green hydrogen via ammonia carriers.

ContiTech's marine ammonia transfer hoses have received DNV certification, enabling safe large-scale transfer in various maritime conditions, including single-point mooring (SPM), shore-to-ship, and ship-to-ship operations.
