Lyon, FranceJune 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On June 23, 2026, Elkem Silicones officially announced its rebranding to “Bluestar Silicones.” This follows the acquisition of the core assets of Elkem’s silicones business by China National BlueStar (Group) Co., Ltd., completed on April 30, 2026. The name change marks a significant milestone in the company’s transformation.

The name “Bluestar Silicones” was previously used between 2007 and 2017. Its revival helps the company re-establish a strong connection with this globally recognized, industry-leading brand identity. At the same time, the newly launched brand visual identity and slogan “Living the difference” further underscore the company’s forward-looking strategy and unique positioning in the silicones market.
