ShanghaiMay 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Elitewheels made its debut at China Cycle, one of the world’s most influential professional bicycle exhibitions, unveiling its latest innovations to cycling enthusiasts and professionals worldwide.
One of the highlights of the booth was the brand’s newly developed 4.9 kg ultra-light road bike, breaking its own record of 4.95 kg set last year. The bike features the brand-new matte gold carbon fiber raw CIMA frameset, paired with Elitewheels Drive Ultra 40D wheels and the KREUZA Apex integrated handlebar, achieving extreme lightweight while showcasing the brand’s relentless pursuit of engineering excellence. The Drive Ultra wheelset weighs only 990 grams and is equipped with Nonplus ultra-light hubs, striking a perfect balance between climbing performance, stiffness, and responsiveness.

During the exhibition, Elitewheels also launched several new products, including the Drive G50 CS, Drive SL 48D CS, Drive Mono 65D, and Drive Vento.
– Drive G50 CS: A high-performance aerodynamic gravel wheelset featuring carbon spokes, a hooked rim design, compatibility with 40–60C tires, and a 60T responsive ratchet mechanism, tailored for gravel racing and long-distance adventure cycling.
– Drive SL 48D CS: A road wheelset validated by the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub in the UK, with enhanced aerodynamic efficiency and stiffness. Compared to the Drive II, lateral stiffness is improved by 8.6%, and the entire wheelset weighs only 1,290 grams, maintaining a competitive lightweight advantage.
– Drive Vento: Designed specifically for triathlon and time trial events, with a rim depth of 108 mm and a weight of just 843 grams, optimized for 29–30C tires to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
– Drive Mono 65D: Attracting attention with its one-piece monocoque construction and lightweight design of 1,245 grams. The teardrop-shaped spokes enhance lateral stiffness and crosswind stability while optimizing rotational efficiency for a smoother ride.

Also showcased at the same booth was the brand’s new CIMA GR aerodynamic gravel platform. The bare carbon frame in size M weighs only 750 grams, combining aerodynamic efficiency with gravel-road versatility, supporting tires up to 50C. Paired with Elitewheels Drive G50 wheels and the new KREUZA Apex GR riser handlebar, the complete bike weighs just 6.6 kg. This handlebar is also compatible with road bike framesets.
The above new products will be launched in the coming months, as Elitewheels continues to fulfill its commitment to driving innovation in the cycling industry.
