Dubai, UAEApril 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Nakheel, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded contracts valued at over AED 3.5 billion to Ginco General Contracting L.L.C and United Engineering Construction (referred to as “UNEC”) for the construction of 544 villas on Palm Jebel Ali. This marks a significant milestone in the delivery of this key waterfront development project in Dubai.

Under the awarded contracts, Ginco will be responsible for constructing 354 villas on fronds A through D of the Palm, while UNEC will deliver 190 villas on fronds E and F. Construction is scheduled to commence this quarter, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2028.

Spanning seven islands with a total length of 13.4 kilometers, Palm Jebel Ali features 16 fronds and over 90 kilometers of coastline, aiming to create a world-class waterfront destination and serve as a key driver for Dubai’s future urban expansion.
The awarding of the latest contracts signifies ongoing progress in the Palm Jebel Ali master plan and supports the goals of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, reinforcing the emirate’s long-term vision of building sustainable, high-quality communities.
Previously, the beach villas and Coral Collection villas at Palm Jebel Ali were unveiled, developed in collaboration with leading international architectural firms. The destination will also include the Palm Central private residences, offering an interconnected island living experience that combines architecture, community, and resort-style comfort.
To further enhance its community infrastructure, Palm Jebel Ali will feature a 9,000-square-meter retail center and a Friday mosque designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The mosque, capable of accommodating up to 1,000 worshippers, will serve residents and visitors across the destination.
