SHANGHAIJune 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On June 3, 2026, the LEGO Group and the McLaren Formula 1 Team celebrated McLaren’s 1,000th Grand Prix in Monaco, unveiling two new co-created LEGO® helmet sets, along with real driver helmets inspired by these sets. The two drivers will wear the collaborative helmets during this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix. Both LEGO helmet sets include driver minifigures and will be available for sale starting June 4 (Beijing time).

Co-Created Driver Helmets
To celebrate the team’s 1,000th race, McLaren Formula 1 Team drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris will wear special edition helmets co-created with the LEGO design team. The helmets feature striking design details and the drivers’ signature colors, combined with the special livery of the McLaren Formula 1 Team’s 1,000th race celebration. Both helmets are based on the design of the two new LEGO Editions product sets.

The LEGO® McLaren Formula 1 Team Oscar Piastri Helmet was co-designed by the LEGO Group and Oscar Piastri, and also serves as the basis for the driver’s helmet in the 1,000th Grand Prix celebration. The set features McLaren’s iconic papaya orange, accented with Oscar’s preferred blue. This 793-piece set includes Oscar’s driver number, full printed details matching the commemorative race livery, and an Oscar Piastri LEGO minifigure. The set can be displayed on a black stand with a printed signature plaque, making it an ideal addition to any fan’s collection shelf.

The LEGO® McLaren Formula 1 Team Lando Norris Helmet is built from 793 pieces, showcasing Lando’s signature fluorescent irregular pattern design and elements from the 1,000th Grand Prix celebration livery. Co-designed by Lando himself, the set captures the helmet’s lines and shape in brick form, incorporating his new driver number “1.” The included minifigure features unique printed details and can be displayed on a black stand with a printed signature plaque.
