BeijingJune 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On June 12, Beijing Customs reported that since the Beijing Yizhao Comprehensive Bonded Zone (hereinafter referred to as “Yizhao Bonded Zone”) officially commenced operations on December 11, 2025, it has handled 20,800 tons of import and export goods, with a trade volume of 8.208 billion yuan, continuously unleashing momentum for opening up to the outside world.

Stepping into the Yizhao Bonded Zone, vehicles loaded with goods frequently shuttle between smart checkpoints, customs inspection centers, and bonded warehouses. Enterprises in biomedicine, integrated circuits, and high-end manufacturing have established operations here, presenting a thriving new landscape of foreign trade development within the zone.
“With the support of facilitative measures such as export tax rebates and bonded warehousing services, our products have been exported to multiple countries, continuously expanding our overseas ‘circle of friends,'” said Li Hongyu, General Manager of Beijing Leite Tengfei Medical Technology Co., Ltd. The company’s high-end medical electronic linear accelerator accessories were among the first batch of export goods from the Yizhao Bonded Zone. Currently, over 10 types of medical equipment products and accessories have entered international markets in Europe, the Americas, South Asia, and other regions through the Yizhao Bonded Zone.
Convenient bonded warehousing services are a key reason why many emerging industries have chosen to ‘settle’ in the Yizhao Bonded Zone. Under this service model, inbound goods can defer payment of import taxes, with relevant procedures handled upon outbound delivery based on final destinations, helping enterprises alleviate financial pressure. Today, the advantages of bonded warehousing in the Yizhao Bonded Zone are fully realized, with warehouse leasing rates exceeding 90%. Stored goods include biomedicine, integrated circuits, industrial products, cross-border e-commerce consumer goods, and other categories, with a total value of 900 million yuan.
“In response to pain points reported by enterprises, such as high costs and long cycles for overseas repairs, we are actively cultivating new foreign trade formats like bonded repair and bonded exhibition,” said a representative from the Yizhao Bonded Zone.
As a cooperative repair partner for ophthalmic medical equipment manufacturers such as Zeiss, Canon, and Alcon, Youyike (Beijing) Technical Service Co., Ltd. has become the first enterprise to establish a bonded repair project in the Yizhao Bonded Zone. The company’s head, Chang Songmin, explained that conducting bonded repair operations in the Yizhao Bonded Zone will replace the previous single model of overseas on-site repairs, improving efficiency by over 50% and reducing overall costs by an estimated 30%. “This has effectively enhanced our market competitiveness,” Chang said.
Data shows that as of June 11, the Yizhao Customs under Beijing Customs has supervised 20,800 tons of import and export goods, 8,034 vehicle trips in and out of the zone, covering 141 types of goods, with a trade volume of 8.208 billion yuan, forming another new growth pole for Beijing’s opening up to the outside world.
