BeijingApril 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Quhuo Group (OTC: QHUOD, formerly QHUOY) (“Quhuo” or the “Company”) today announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Wanshiyun (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (“Wanshiyun”), an AI data service provider. The two parties will establish joint ventures in China, Vietnam, Germany, and the United States to serve as R&D, sales, and production centers for their AI data service businesses.
In recent years, as large-scale AI models have entered a phase of widespread application, data has become a key foundational resource driving technological progress. Particularly with the rapid development of applications such as embodied intelligence and autonomous driving, the market demand for high-quality, multimodal data has grown significantly. Achieving large-scale, stable data production and delivery capabilities has become a critical competitive factor in the industry.
As a leading provider of gig economy workforce and local life service operations solutions in China, Quhuo has established mature workforce organization capabilities and refined operational systems. It has accumulated extensive experience in multi-city, multi-project management and large-scale workforce deployment, supported by standardized digital management systems.
Founded in 2021, Wanshiyun is a leading AI data service provider in China, with strong project delivery, data processing, and quality management capabilities in areas such as large model training data, autonomous driving, content review, and multimodal data services.
Leveraging their respective strengths, the two parties will engage in practical and scalable cooperation in the AI data service field. Specifically, Wanshiyun will provide data annotation standards, project process design, and quality management systems, while Quhuo will leverage its nationwide workforce organization capabilities to support the large-scale recruitment, deployment, and daily management of data production personnel. The two parties will collaborate on data collection, annotation, cleaning, and quality inspection across various data types, including images, audio, text, and point clouds, enhancing consistency and efficiency through standardized processes.
During project execution, the two companies will also explore more efficient team organization models. For example, dedicated data teams can be quickly assembled based on specific project needs, with Wanshiyun responsible for technical and quality control, and Quhuo handling workforce operations and project support. This model is expected to shorten project startup times and improve delivery capabilities. As cooperation deepens, the two parties plan to develop replicable project models applicable to different clients and industry scenarios.
Looking ahead, the cooperation also includes geographic expansion plans, with a focus on Southeast Asia, to build data production capabilities that can support international clients’ AI training data needs. Leveraging local labor cost advantages and growing data service demand, the two parties plan to explore establishing data production and delivery centers in countries such as Vietnam, forming localized delivery capabilities for overseas markets.
At the same time, the two parties will actively expand international clientele, collaborating with global AI companies and clients in related fields such as autonomous driving and robotics. This is expected to gradually enhance their participation in the global AI data service market. As business scale grows, the two parties will also explore establishing front-end customer service and business development capabilities in Europe and North America to support cross-regional project delivery and long-term cooperation.
This cooperation marks Quhuo’s further expansion into the AI data service field and is expected to enhance the Company’s ability to serve clients in emerging AI-related business scenarios. By combining Quhuo’s strengths in workforce organization and operational management with Wanshiyun’s AI data service capabilities, the Company hopes to broaden its service scope, drive business diversification, and accelerate international expansion through potential overseas delivery capabilities and global client development opportunities, thereby opening new long-term growth paths.
Leslie Yu, Chairman and CEO of Quhuo, stated: “The development of AI heavily relies on high-quality data support. This cooperation allows us to combine our established workforce organization capabilities with the growing demand for AI data, forming new service capabilities. We look forward to creating new growth opportunities on the basis of our existing business.”
Wanshiyun also stated: “As AI applications continue to evolve, the market’s requirements for data service scale and quality are increasing. By cooperating with Quhuo, we can more efficiently organize large-scale data production capabilities and further improve project delivery efficiency. This cooperation will help accelerate the implementation of data services in more industry scenarios.”
