MacauMay 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On the afternoon of May 27, the opening ceremony of BEYOND Expo 2026 was held at the Parisian Theatre, The Parisian Macao, officially kicking off the event. This year’s expo, themed “AI: Symbiosis of Digital and Physical,” focuses on the industrial process of AI moving from digital systems to the physical world. Discussions revolve around embodied intelligence, robotics, spatial computing, AI agents, open ecosystems, and global capital, showcasing the latest progress of AI accelerating into industrial scenarios and the real world.

The opening ceremony attracted over 1,000 participants from multiple countries and regions, including China, South Korea, Southeast Asia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brazil, and the European Union. Attendees included corporate executives, entrepreneurial leaders, investment institution representatives, local government officials, international partners, and media, creating a cross-regional, cross-industry, and cross-ecosystem global innovation exchange platform.
During the opening ceremony, BEYOND Expo Co-founder He Jiandong delivered the first speech. He noted that BEYOND Expo aims to connect Asian innovation forces with global partners, fostering more exchange opportunities across technology, investment, sports, and entertainment within the same week. Aligned with this year’s direction, the BEYOND Expo 2026 exhibition area will gather nearly 800 exhibitors, including major tech companies and, for the first time, smaller innovation entities such as OPCs (One-Person Companies), allowing independent entrepreneurs and individual creators to showcase alongside leading brands.

He Jiandong stated that Asia not only boasts AI software and model innovation but also possesses advanced manufacturing, hardware innovation, and infrastructure capabilities, providing crucial support for AI to enter the physical world. Starting with the opening ceremony, BEYOND Expo 2026 will continue to feature more exciting content from May 28 to 30. The event will advance multiple agendas across seven stages and gather nearly 800 international exhibitors. During the expo, various segments will unfold, including the BGlobal Summit, International Investment and Financing Summit, Physical AI Summit, Digital AI Summit, Japan Tech Forum, Korea Tech Forum, Asia-Europe Tech Forum, Asia-Latin America Tech Forum, SheTech Women in Tech Summit, Web2+3 Summit, AI Beauty & Health Summit, business matchmaking sessions, BEYOND Awards, Extreme Pitch, and BEYOND HACK DAY. These will cover technology showcases, industry exchanges, cross-regional cooperation, investment and financing matchmaking, developer ecosystems, and innovation project presentations.
