To push the limits further, LEGO Group and Koenigsegg drove the life-sized LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear supercar onto the Goodwood Estate, challenging the iconic hill climb track. This build was driven by Koenigsegg test driver Markus Lundh, who set a hill climb record on this track in the Sadair’s Spear at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
When this build tackled the famous track, it reached a top speed of 111 km/h, setting a new speed record for the fastest drivable LEGO car ever built by LEGO Group. This milestone not only marks the debut of the new LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear supercar set but also creates a new record category in Goodwood’s history—the LEGO car speed record.
This drivable, life-sized LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear supercar is built from 327,906 LEGO bricks, weighing approximately 1,800 kg, with about 400 kg consisting of LEGO elements. Development and construction took over 9,400 hours. Its detailed design includes a lightweight body made entirely of LEGO Technic elements, a functioning “Ghost Mode,” and the iconic Koenigsegg key, all meticulously integrated to replicate the real car’s functionality.

The new LEGO® Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear supercar is the sixth model in the LEGO Technic Ultimate Supercar series. Comprising 4,104 LEGO bricks, this set offers a challenging and rewarding building experience. Key features include:
- A realistic V8 piston engine.
- A functioning 9-speed gearbox system.
- An exclusive triple front and rear suspension system.
- A new rotating gear display that visually shows the model’s current gear position.
- The most iconic innovation is the dynamically functioning “Ghost Mode.” With a single action, it raises the rear hatch, opens the signature dihedral synchro-helix doors and front hood, and folds the side mirrors, authentically replicating the real supercar’s functionality.
