Udaipur, IndiaApril 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hindustan Zinc Limited, a subsidiary of the Vedanta Group and the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2026.
For the full year, the company achieved record revenue of $4.623 billion, up 20% year-on-year; EBITDA reached an all-time high of $2.508 billion, up 27% year-on-year, with an EBITDA margin of 54%, ranking among the industry’s best. Full-year net profit hit a record $1.565 billion, up 34% year-on-year. In the fourth quarter, EBITDA reached a record high of $847 million, up 61% year-on-year; net profit also set a record at $550 million, up 68% year-on-year.
On the operational front, the company achieved its highest-ever mined metal production at 1.114 million tonnes, while refined metal production reached 1.048 million tonnes, the second-highest in history. During the year, the company successfully implemented capacity debottlenecking projects at its Chanderiya and Dariba smelters in Rajasthan, boosting refined zinc capacity.

Silver continued to be a significant value driver, with annual production reaching 627 tonnes, contributing 45% to the company’s overall profitability. In the fourth quarter, silver production reached 176 tonnes, up 11% quarter-on-quarter.
