Honeywell Unveils New Brand After Spin-off: Honeywell Technology and Honeywell Aerospace

Charlotte, North CarolinaJune 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) today announced that its Automation and Aerospace businesses will adopt new brand identities — Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace, respectively. Following the completion of the Aerospace business spin-off, Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace will become two independent publicly traded companies on June 29, 2026.

Currently, the Honeywell brand value is approximately $18 billion[1]. Over its 140-year history, Honeywell has consistently supported customer growth through continuous innovation. The two new brands will carry forward Honeywell’s deep legacy[2] while more clearly reflecting their respective strategic directions and long-term growth paths:

  • The Automation business will be branded as Honeywell Technologies and will continue trading on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “HON.” The company will focus on leading the global industrial transformation from automation to autonomy, leveraging a comprehensive portfolio of outcome-driven technologies, solutions, and software for mission-critical scenarios to help customers enhance productivity and drive growth.
  • The Aerospace business will be branded as Honeywell Aerospace and will list on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “HONA.” The company will become one of the world’s largest independent publicly traded aerospace suppliers, committed to maintaining leadership in technology and systems, continuously advancing future aviation toward electrification and autonomous flight.

Vimal Kapur, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Honeywell, said: “Today marks another key step in our transformation into two independent, focused companies. The new brand identities carry forward Honeywell’s century-old legacy while embodying a bold, forward-looking vision and clear strategic focus, setting the direction for Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace as independent entities. This also heralds an exciting new era for both businesses.”

Honeywell Technologies

The new brand identity of Honeywell Technologies reflects the company’s clear strategic focus and ambitious growth aspirations. The overall visual style is vibrant and dynamic, building on the iconic “Honeywell Red” while incorporating a richer, more vivid color palette and introducing a modern “HT” monogram logo. The visual system, built around the concept of “intersections,” showcases the fusion of the company’s expertise and advanced technologies, delivering greater precision, reliability, and efficiency to customers.

Kapur added: “The new brand highlights the deep intersection of our technologies and expertise — from control, intelligence, to safety — whose synergy will reshape industry operations, accelerate the journey toward a more autonomous future, and unlock new growth opportunities and long-term value. As Honeywell Technologies, this new chapter further solidifies our foundation and reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing capabilities and delivering tangible outcomes for customers.”

Honeywell Aerospace

The Honeywell Aerospace brand revolves around a newly designed logo — a graphic formed by the letters “H” and “A,” with a smooth negative space outlining a horizon-like contour. The primary brand color is the distinctive “Sunrise Orange,” inspired by the sky colors pilots see at dawn, complemented by silver elements echoing the metallic texture of aircraft. This color scheme not only gives Honeywell Aerospace a distinct independent brand identity but also extends the trust built over Honeywell’s many years.

Jim Currier, President and Chief Executive Officer of Honeywell Aerospace, said: “The new Honeywell Aerospace brand embodies precision, determination, and forward momentum — the core of our innovation and trusted performance for customers and partners over the past century. As an independent company, we will seize opportunities with faster innovation and greater agility, leading the aviation industry into a new phase.”

More information about the two new companies will be disclosed at their respective Investor Day events, where company management will provide detailed presentations through keynote speeches, technology demonstrations, and Q&A sessions.

Honeywell Aerospace will hold its Investor Day on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and Honeywell Technologies will hold its Investor Day on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in New York. The events will be available via live webcast at: http://www.honeywell.com/investor.
