The new systems feature up to 288 efficiency cores per socket, delivering superior performance per watt, and are designed for high-density cloud, virtualization, 5G analytics, and other throughput-intensive workloads.

Compared to the previous generation, Intel Xeon 6+ systems double the core count, deliver up to a 17% improvement in instructions per clock (IPC), increase last-level cache capacity by five times, and boost memory support speed by 25%, resulting in significant performance gains.
