QingdaoApril 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On April 29, TÜV Rheinland Greater China (referred to as “TÜV Rheinland”), an internationally recognized independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization, and Qingdao Haijian Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Haijian Group”) held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. The two parties will consolidate existing cooperation in testing and certification for power switch products and cable products, while deepening collaboration in fields such as marine equipment and new energy. Representatives from both parties attended the signing ceremony, including Bi Jianqing, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of Haijian Group; Yang Jian, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager; Xia Bo, President of TÜV Rheinland Greater China; Sun Guorong, Vice President of Industrial Services and Information Security; and Wang Huibo, Executive Director of TÜV Rheinland Qingdao.

TÜV Rheinland and Haijian Group Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement
According to the agreement, the two parties will focus on the marine equipment and new energy sectors, jointly conducting pilot projects for international mutual recognition of equipment such as offshore wind power and offshore oil and gas, promoting alignment between Chinese standards and mainstream international standards. They will also collaboratively develop certification services in new energy fields like offshore wind power and offshore solar power, and research and establish standards for new energy equipment in marine environments. Additionally, both parties will jointly provide full lifecycle technical services for marine equipment, advancing a “one certification, dual recognition” service model for marine equipment manufacturing and marine engineering enterprises, setting a new benchmark for international cooperation in the marine equipment and new energy testing and certification sectors.
During the discussions, Bi Jianqing noted that Haijian Group focuses on comprehensive testing and inspection services and the incubation of scientific and technological industries, deeply engaging in quality technical services for marine equipment. The group has established five major national-level innovation platforms, with business covering quality inspection services, engineering research and development, and marine engineering consulting. TÜV Rheinland possesses profound technical expertise and experience in high-end equipment and marine engineering testing and certification. He expressed anticipation that the strategic cooperation would establish a long-term collaboration mechanism, focusing on the internationalization of marine equipment testing and the upgrading of the new energy industry, to achieve mutual growth and win-win development.

Representatives from TÜV Rheinland also visited the Qingdao Offshore Comprehensive Test Site (Phase I) and the Haijian Center Laboratory, gaining insights into Haijian Group’s platform development and technical layout.
