With the theme “Agility Drives Connection, Marriott Connects,” the roadshow focused on topics such as business travel ecosystem linkage, sustainable meeting innovation, deepening member value, and digital transformation, empowering business travel service capabilities. 2026 Marriott International Greater China Hotel Roadshow Concludes Successfully
Ms. Yang Yang, Senior Vice President of Business Development, Greater China, Marriott International, stated: “‘Agility Drives Connection, Marriott Connects’ is not only the theme of this roadshow but also the strategic direction for Marriott to move forward together with our clients and partners. We are continuously empowering the development of the business travel market by deepening digital collaboration, enhancing the membership ecosystem, and advancing sustainable meeting solutions. In the future, Marriott will continue to create greater value for business travel clients through innovative products and green practices.”
During the roadshow, Marriott International invited industry representatives such as Trip.com Business Travel and BCD Travel to share the latest trends and insights in the business travel market. Trip.com Business Travel, using its system direct connection partnership with Marriott as an example, demonstrated how digital solutions—such as “corporate payment for business travel, membership points, and benefits”—significantly improve business travel efficiency. BCD Travel, from an industry trend perspective, pointed out that direct booking channels, member loyalty programs, and sustainable development will remain core themes in the future market. Attendees also noted that the current market demands increased diversity and customized services, and hotels can leverage AI to optimize service processes and integrate surrounding resources to flexibly respond to changing client needs. Marriott Bonvoy Events also launched limited-time meeting benefits: from now until January 31, 2027, bookings for meetings, group events, and dining activities in Greater China will earn double points on any spending; spending a specified amount also qualifies for complimentary room upgrades, additional points, buy-one-get-one drinks, and other hotel upgrade perks, offering exclusive benefits for event planners.
Marriott Bonvoy Travel Program Expands Business Travel Member Value

Meanwhile, Marriott Bonvoy continuously expands travel and lifestyle scenarios through partnerships with cross-sector collaborators such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Shanghai Rolex Masters, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, and the Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong, catering to guests’ and members’ life interests and striving to be their lifelong travel companion.
Practicing Connect Responsibly to Build a New Green Business Travel Paradigm
Since launching the “Connect Responsibly” project in 2024, Marriott International has been promoting green practices in the meetings and events sector. The roadshow featured a special sustainable development-themed backdrop, showcasing the group’s collaboration with the China Environmental Protection Foundation on seagrass bed expansion and Northeast black soil conservation projects, as well as public welfare achievements with the China Green Foundation’s “Million Forests” initiative, donating saxaul trees to desertified areas in Gansu. The entire roadshow adopted the “Connect Responsibly” solution, reducing carbon emissions by over 22 tons across the three locations. All carbon offset costs will be donated to these public welfare projects, in line with the group’s goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the entire value chain by 2050.
Enriching Brand Portfolio to Empower Efficient Business Travel
In 2026, Marriott International’s operational hotel portfolio in China surpassed 700 properties, covering 26 brands across luxury, premium, and select service categories in over 150 cities and destinations, offering a diverse range of choices for business travelers. The roadshow showcased a series of new hotels under the group: the 700th hotel in Greater China, The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan, located atop Yuexiu International Financial Center, offers legendary brand service and immersive stays for an extraordinary business travel journey; Marriott Bonvoy Apartments made its Greater China debut with Yike Hotel Suzhou, situated in the core area of Suzhou’s ancient city, providing guests with a blend of local inspiration and modern artistic living.
