Feng Yanhui delivers a speech
Feng Yanhui delivered a speech on behalf of Eisai China. She stated that the connection between Eisai and Chinese universities dates back to the 1970s. In 1972, before the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, Vice President Miller of Beijing Medical College (now Peking University Health Science Center) and his wife Kyoko visited Kawashima Park (Eisai Kawashima Factory). In the early 1990s, Eisai donated to the Fudan University Japan Research Center. Eisai China’s scholarship and grant program began in 2000, and currently, it provides Eisai China scholarships and grants to students at 10 pharmaceutical and medical universities each year, with an annual donation of nearly one million RMB. Adhering to the corporate philosophy of hhc (human health care), Eisai China prioritizes patient interests and public health, meeting diverse needs and contributing to the enhancement of well-being. Congratulations to the students at Fudan University Shanghai Medical College who have received Eisai China scholarships and grants. Eisai China will continue to support China’s pharmaceutical higher education, working together to build a talent pipeline in the medical field and jointly promote the rapid development of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.

Since 2006, Eisai China has established the Eisai China scholarship and grant program at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Fudan University, donating over 100,000 RMB annually to reward students with outstanding academic performance and good conduct to complete their studies. To date, over nearly 20 consecutive years, a total of 680 students have received Eisai China scholarships. Congratulations to the students who have received scholarships and grants this year.
