XiamenMay 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On May 8, Beijing time, the 2026 FILA National Youth Golf Elite Challenge Xiamen Station kicked off the men’s and women’s Group A and B competitions at the Orient (Xiamen) Golf & Country Club, marking the official launch of the 2026 FILA Youth Golf Series.
The FILA Youth Golf Series has entered its third year, continuing this year as a series of events. Under the theme “Swing into the Future,” the 2026 FILA Youth Golf Series adopts a format of “4 Elite Challenges + 1 Annual Finals,” with all competitions featuring complete men’s and women’s Group A, B, C, and D divisions. Among these, the finals, the FILA China Youth Golf Elite Championship, is a first-tier, first-level youth golf event organized by the China Golf Association, while each Elite Challenge is a first-tier, third-level event. Xiamen once again takes on the responsibility of hosting the season opener.
The opening ceremony for the Xiamen Station was held in the afternoon. Attendees included key guests such as Wu Mingxian, Deputy Party Secretary and Second-Level Inspector of the Xiamen Municipal Sports Bureau; Zheng Zhijun, Director of the Sports Industry Division of the Xiamen Municipal Sports Bureau; Le Cheng, Project Supervisor of the Youth Department of the China Golf Association; Liang Wenchong, FILA GOLF Brand Ambassador and former head coach of the Chinese National Golf Team; Alan Kim, General Manager of FILA Golf Division; You Huimin, General Manager of FILA KIDS Brand; Wang Tao, Director of Sports Marketing at Anta Group; as well as player representatives Ni Ruohan and Wang Qianzhou.

During the opening ceremony, it was announced that Yang Mingyuan, champion of the 2025 FILA China Youth Golf Elite Championship Men’s Group A; Ni Ruohan, champion of the Women’s Group A; and emerging young player Wang Qianzhou would join the FILA family. With the strong support of FILA’s resources, they will embark on a brighter path in their golf dreams. The three young players newly joining the FILA family expressed their expectations for their future golf careers. As FILA GOLF Brand Ambassador, Chinese golf legend Liang Wenchong also came to the Xiamen opening event to cheer on the participating players. The 2026 FILA National Youth Golf Elite Challenge Xiamen Station will be held from May 8 to 10, with Groups A and B playing three rounds and Groups C and D playing two rounds. The men’s and women’s champions in each group will directly qualify for the 2026 FILA China Youth Golf Elite Championship.
