BeijingMay 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — From May 29 to 31, 2026, the 66th China Franchise Expo will be held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The expo is expected to cover an area of 30,000 square meters, bringing together over 300 chain brands, aiming to build an efficient matchmaking platform for franchise investors and brand owners.

The 66th China Franchise Expo will be held from May 29 to 31 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, with the theme ‘Franchise Selection, Reliable Stores.’ It will be held concurrently with the 2026 Franchise Conference & Life Services Industry Development Conference and the World Franchise Council Annual Meeting
The China Franchise Expo is renowned for its “strict selection” process, rigorously screening franchise brands that meet the “two stores, one year” standard (i.e., operating at least two stores for over a year) to reduce entrepreneurial risks for franchisees. Currently, the commercial franchise registration rate for brands at this expo has exceeded 70%. The exhibitor lineup covers dozens of sub-sectors, including tea and coffee, baked snacks, braised delicacies, fast food and casual dining, specialty snacks, craft beer, fried chicken and burgers, gelato, Japanese and Korean cuisine, fresh food retail, IP cultural and creative products, car maintenance, health and wellness, fitness and hotels, education and training, children’s care, leisure and entertainment, laundry and dry cleaning, instant retail, food specialty stores, and convenience stores.
In terms of brand composition, this expo features the following highlights: On one hand, time-honored brands and dark horses such as Qingfeng Baozi Shop, Maluji, Wujia Mixed Rice Noodles, Linyu Fried Chicken Legs, and Motuika are entering the franchise track for the first time with a renewed image; mature chain brands like Juewei, Haoxianglai, Baozai Huang, Yonghe Soy Milk, and N Duo Sushi are also returning. On the other hand, well-known brands such as Burger King, Lele Tea, Wanguo Sports, Longji Shancheng, and Yidu Convenience Stores will make their debut at the expo.
Notably, the number of retail and lifestyle service brands participating continues to grow, with increasingly diverse categories covering classic formats such as laundry and dry cleaning, braised delicacies, convenience stores, fruits and tea, and leisure entertainment, as well as emerging formats like flash warehouses, cultural and creative specialty stores, pinball entertainment, self-service fitness, and self-service car washes, reflecting the close linkage between the franchise sector and consumer trends.
During the expo, a “Professional Franchisee Matchmaking Meeting” will be held for the first time, connecting high-quality brand owners with experienced franchise investors in a closed-door format. At the same time, a series of public events such as “MIX Talk” and multiple themed forums will also be held, focusing on topics like franchise investment, store operations, and industry innovation.
Additionally, this expo will be held concurrently with two industry conferences: first, the 2026 Franchise Conference & Life Services Industry Development Conference, themed “Harmony and Cooperation, Adapting to Trends with Innovation”; and second, the World Franchise Council (WFC) Annual Meeting, forming a “one expo, two conferences” super franchise week structure to jointly interpret market frontier trends, franchise model innovations, and industry evolution directions.
The China Franchise Expo was founded by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association in 1999 and filed with the Ministry of Commerce. It has been held 65 times to date. The expo has always adhered to the selection philosophy of “Invest in a Good Store.” As of 2025, it has featured over 9,700 cumulative exhibiting brands and received more than 1.65 million professional visitors, making it a benchmark professional expo in the industry.
Currently, pre-registration for the expo is open. Before May 29, eligible professional franchise investors and chain enterprises can apply for free admission, while general visitors can purchase early bird tickets for entry.
