As a key academic and industrial conference commemorating the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the TCM modernization strategy, this conference comprehensively summarized the milestone achievements of TCM over the past three decades in areas such as scientific research breakthroughs, industrial upgrading, clinical application, and international dissemination.

The story of Jinshuibao begins in the 1970s. Professor Yang Yunpeng’s team from the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, collected natural Cordyceps sinensis samples from Qinghai Hualong at an altitude of 3,800 meters. After tens of thousands of experiments, they isolated the excellent Cs-4 strain. In 1987, Jinshuibao Capsules became the first national Class 1 new drug (TCM) in New China, achieving a historic breakthrough in the artificial substitution of natural Cordyceps sinensis. It can be said that “Jinshuibao” has not only witnessed the development process of TCM modernization but is also a “representative work” of modern TCM in this process.
