Recently, the HVBTTER power battery pack assembly, independently developed by Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery Co., Ltd., successfully passed DEKRA testing and was awarded the world’s first DEKRA Seal certificate for renewed power batteries.
This certification for Sunwoda not only signifies that its products fully meet China’s highest battery safety standards but also serves as a strong response to international market demands. Global First Certificate: How Significant Is It?
The DEKRA Seal certification mark enjoys high credibility in the global market. This certification system, with its rigorous evaluation framework and dynamically evolving assessment criteria, continues to lead industry standards. The newly upgraded certification logo is more intuitive and recognizable, further solidifying its core position as a high-trust, high-integrity, comprehensive evaluation platform dedicated to providing transparent, safe, and reliable product testing and certification services.
Sunwoda’s full suite of tests was conducted at the CATARC (China Automotive Technology and Research Center), a strategic partner of DEKRA and a laboratory for mandatory national standard testing of power batteries. The tests covered:
- Electrical Safety: Protection capabilities under extreme conditions such as overcharging, short circuits, and thermal runaway
- Mechanical Reliability: Environmental adaptability including vibration, shock, and crush tests, as well as the newly added bottom impact test
- Environmental Adaptability: Temperature and humidity cycling, salt spray, and water and dust resistance
- Performance Durability: Newly added safety tests after fast charging cycles, fully verifying reliability under long-term fast charging scenarios
