Baby Shark Water Fun Partners with Fairmont Singapore to Create an Immersive Family Stay Experience

SingaporeMay 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Fairmont Singapore has partnered with Pinkfong’s beloved character “Baby Shark” to launch Singapore’s first large-scale immersive family staycation program, transforming the entire hotel into a playful adventure wonderland. The event will run from May 18 to November 17, 2026, as a limited-time offering. Co-created by the hotel and the Singapore Tourism Board, it combines themed guest rooms, interactive experiences, and poolside dining to deliver a story-driven, engaging vacation experience for family travelers.


A highlight of this collaboration is Baby Shark’s first appearance in Singapore alongside two highly popular, locally inspired characters—Merli, the Singapore Tourism Board’s mascot inspired by the Merlion, and Pakcik, Fairmont Singapore’s signature lion mascot. These three characters will weave throughout the entire stay experience, seamlessly blending the international family IP with Singapore’s local culture, allowing both children and adults to immerse themselves in a joyful adventure journey.

William J. Haandrikman expressed hope that through this collaboration, Baby Shark’s global appeal would be combined with Singapore’s unique elements, creating a relaxed, fun, and unforgettable stay memory for family travelers.

Families staying in the themed guest rooms will not only enjoy specially decorated interiors and a dedicated Baby Shark TV channel but will also receive a series of exclusive commemorative gifts, including a “Little Explorer” tote bag, a “Best Friends” keychain, and a Plush Buddy collectible plush toy, with one set provided per stay.

The core area of the event is set at the hotel’s poolside restaurant, The Eight. On-site, a variety of Baby Shark-inspired themed dishes will be offered, along with themed pool toy rental services, enhancing the parent-child water play experience. The menu is specially crafted for children and families, featuring fun dishes such as Chomp & Chips Shark Fries, Ooey Gooey Mac & Cheese, Lion City Crunch Satay, and Poolside Fin-tastic Pizza, paired with desserts and drinks like Chendol Chiffon Cake and Mango Splash, creating a strong vacation atmosphere.

Beyond dining, the hotel has arranged a series of interactive activities to keep children engaged beyond their rooms. For instance, the “Little Fins” cupcake decorating workshop allows kids to create their own Baby Shark desserts. On select days during the event, Baby Shark and Merli will make surprise appearances in different areas of the hotel, offering close-up interactions and photo opportunities with guests.

Notably, this collaboration is not limited to hotel guests; general visitors can also participate in certain aspects, including themed dining, workshops, and exclusive merchandise, allowing them to experience Baby Shark’s joyful vibe without needing to stay overnight.
