Arasan Chip Systems Launches Industry’s First Sureboot™ Full 16-bit xSPI + PSRAM IP Solution, Supporting AP Memory’s Xccela™ PSRAM and Latest LVpSRAM™
San Jose, CaliforniaMay 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Arasan Chip Systems, a leading provider of mobile and automotive SoC IP solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of the industry’s first Sureboot™ Full 16-bit xSPI + PSRAM IP. This Sureboot™ Full 16-bit xSPI + PSRAM IP includes controller IP, seamlessly integrated PHY IP, and a software stack. The IP is specifically designed to support AP Memory’s Xccela™ PSRAM and its latest LVpSRAM™, delivering a high-performance, low-power memory interface for next-generation SoC designs.

Arasan Sureboot™ 16-bit xSPI PSRAM IP is a high-performance memory interface designed for maximum speed and flexibility. By utilizing two 8-bit data channels, it transfers 32 bits of data per 266MHz clock cycle, doubling standard throughput, and supports both 1.2V and 1.8V devices. The IP is fully compliant with the JEDEC JESD251C specification and is backward compatible with Octal, Quad, and Dual SPI standards, ensuring compatibility with both modern and legacy devices. It simplifies system integration by booting directly into SPI mode for instant memory access, and features AXI memory mapping and built-in DMA support.
