ShenzhenMay 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Humanoid robot innovation company Zhongqing Robot announced the official launch of the Zhongqing Intelligent Manufacturing (Shenzhen Honghualing) Base, with the first batch of production units of its flagship full-size humanoid robot, the T800, rolling off the assembly line simultaneously. This milestone marks the company’s official entry into a new phase of mass delivery at the ten-thousand-unit scale.
The Shenzhen base covers an area of approximately 12,000 square meters and adopts an integrated closed-loop production process, encompassing all stages from incoming material inspection, component assembly and testing, complete machine assembly, final inspection, batch shipment, and after-sales maintenance. Leveraging this efficient layout, the base can produce a new humanoid robot every 15 minutes.
Zhao Tongyang, founder and CEO of Zhongqing Robot, stated: “From the debut of the first test prototype in 2024, to the small-scale production of hundreds of PM01 units in 2025, and now to the breakthrough leap in achieving ten-thousand-unit delivery capacity, Zhongqing has officially entered a new phase of industrialization and commercialization. We have built our manufacturing system around quality, efficiency, and intelligent production, accelerating the transition from trial production to mass production, and from zero to scale.”
Four Strategic Pillars Upholding Quality Standards
Leveraging its full-stack independent R&D capabilities, Zhongqing Robot has established a rigorous quality assurance system based on four strategic pillars:
- Supply Chain Quality Control: From integrated joints to complete machine assemblies, all components are subject to stringent standards, ensuring only qualified parts enter the production process.
- Advanced Production Processes: Utilizing automated fastening, gluing, and laser welding equipment, production efficiency is increased by 40% while maintaining process standardization.
- Smart Manufacturing Upgrades: A full-process digital management system enables end-to-end traceability. Every component and every finished robot has a unique production identifier, allowing tracking throughout the entire industrial chain.
- Rigorous Testing and Validation: Each robot must pass 79 full-dimensional quality tests and 46 operational simulation tests before delivery, ensuring stable performance and consistent quality for every unit.
Multi-Region Production Layout Supporting Global Expansion
Ren Guowen, co-founder of Zhongqing Robot, stated: “As the intelligent manufacturing network in Shenzhen, Henan, and other regions gradually expands, each production base will operate in coordination to optimize capacity allocation and accelerate market response speed, laying a solid and efficient foundation for future global development.”
