BeijingMay 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The State Council Information Office recently held a press conference to introduce the preparations for the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Li Xingqian, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), stated that this edition of the CISCE has achieved historic breakthroughs in both international participation and scale.

Australia serves as the Guest of Honor Country for the first time at an official national level. This marks Australia’s first official national-level participation in the CISCE, signifying a further enhancement of the expo’s international influence. Five international organizations, including the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Trade Centre (ITC), and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), will continue to serve as supporting units.
For the first time, a foreign Guest of Honor Province has been established, alongside a domestic Guest of Honor Province. This edition of the CISCE innovatively introduces a foreign Guest of Honor Province mechanism for the first time, with France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and Italy’s Liguria region receiving this honor. The domestic Guest of Honor Provinces are Anhui Province and Hainan Province. Anhui will highlight its core positioning of “technological innovation + advanced manufacturing,” focusing on emerging industries such as intelligent connected new energy vehicles, next-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, and low-altitude economy. Hainan, as the Guest of Honor Province in its first year of full customs closure operation as a free trade port, will present a panoramic view of the free trade port’s construction progress, focusing on modern services industry chain extension and institutional innovation, showcasing supply chain international cooperation opportunities in the free trade port.
Global exhibitors gather, with foreign investment share hitting a record high. As of now, confirmed exhibitors come from 85 countries, regions, and international organizations. The proportion of foreign exhibitors has reached 36.5%, with Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders accounting for over 65% of exhibitors. More than 150 overseas delegations have confirmed visits for exhibitions and negotiations, with both the number and scale expected to surpass the previous edition.
The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of June 22, and the Beijing Initiative for the 4th CISCE will be released.
